Xbox Games Showcase 2025 Highlights: ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X Revealed, Xbox Play Anywhere, Clockwork Revolution, and More

why would you put an 8 core CPU on a handheld? IMO a 6core CPU is plenty, especially at 1080p. I have my reservations on the 24GB memory, I mean by the time you need that much memory, you'll be gpu limited anyway.

Leaked Benchmark Scores Show a 20-Core NVIDIA ARM-Based CPU Being Tested Using Linux

what does that have to do with it? I assume the MBs will be designed by mediatek and maybe built by a 3rd parby, foxconn maybe. Anyway its not like you'll be able to build an nvidia PC yourself. On a side note, nvidia motherboards were really good back in the day. I had nforce2 and nforce3 mbs...

Leaked Benchmark Scores Show a 20-Core NVIDIA ARM-Based CPU Being Tested Using Linux

I think their target is high end Workstations for content creators. Go for the apple markets. Nvidia is not known for cheap products.

Xbox Games Showcase 2025 Highlights: ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X Revealed, Xbox Play Anywhere, Clockwork Revolution, and More

While there's no explicit mention of it, it's clear the device won't run xbox Series X/S games natively, only from streaming.

BTW I'm pretty sure the so called "Xbox experience" is just using Xbox Game pass as a shell.

Xbox Games Showcase 2025 Highlights: ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X Revealed, Xbox Play Anywhere, Clockwork Revolution, and More

I'm not sure console makers are thrilled about it (particularly Sony). Consoles have a long life span, but we already have 2nd generation portables from several manufacturers and 3rd generation are coming soon. I think MS will transition into a licensing model, having several builders make...

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Video Card Review

I realized it uses DDR6 had it used DDR 7 it could use 3GB ram chips. I guess they are also more expensive than 2GB chips.

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Video Card Review

I think AMD would have hit a home if they released a 12gb card instead of the 8gb, even at a price premium. Otherwise only 16gb cards.

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Video Card Review

so why isn't anyone making fuzz about no RX9060XT 8gb reviews? or is it wrong only when nvidia does it?

SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Video Card Review

From what I've seen, it trades blows with the RTX5060 Ti 16GB, what surprises me is that it's very close on RT, even wins in a couple of games.

    Weird laptop screen issue

As someone else pointed out the plot thickens I managed to capture video, it's very weird, severe flickering/Image corruption when playing video, press ctrl-alt-del it disappears. Also switching to a full-screen application removes the tearing, it still flickers every now and then, but not as...

Unreal Engine 5.6 Makes Its Debut with New Footage from the Witcher IV Tech Demo, Showcasing Improved 60 FPS Ray Traced Global Illumination

Actually, polygon count is the least of the problems, GPUs have polygon crunching power to spare (and have for several generations now). Its shaders, textures and more recently RT which take the cake. Do you remember when Anisotropic filtering and AA brought gpus to its knees?

Unreal Engine 5.6 Makes Its Debut with New Footage from the Witcher IV Tech Demo, Showcasing Improved 60 FPS Ray Traced Global Illumination

This is nothing new, every now and then we get a Tech Demo, and everyone goes crazy expecting it to become a real game. That never happens, at least not with all the bells and whistles. I recall multiple times when "console games" were actually running on ultra high end PCs, at least they are...
