Early Black Friday Deals on RAM, NVMe Drives, GPUs, and More

I get it and normally would, just running really short on time but there is a info at the beginning of the links saying what they are. I was really hoping that google would take over with a description but you never know until after posting one.

Early Black Friday Deals on RAM, NVMe Drives, GPUs, and More

A long way from the worst for a pre-built. The CPU (9800X3D including an 240 mm AIO)/GPU - RTX 5080/RAM 32 GB 6400 & PSU 1000W 80 Plus Gold, pretty much cover the cost for this one at $2,299 ($400 off) and that doesn't even include the 2TB NVMe, motherboard, and case and as long as it arrives...

After Nearly $1 Billion in Crowdfunding and 13 Years in Development, Star Citizen Is Nearly, Nah, Who’re We Kidding, It’s Never Going to Happen

Didn't know that it and it only makes even more so confusing but maybe that was partly the point.

Early Testing of ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 Shows Not Much Else Left on the Table for GB202 Die, Even with 800W of Power

I forgot to mention that I do use MFGx3 but with everything tuned like it is, there's no noticeable bad side effects since I'm also limiting FPS and again in reference to HZD: Remastered, GPU TDP sometimes drops to under 200W.

Early Testing of ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 Shows Not Much Else Left on the Table for GB202 Die, Even with 800W of Power

I believe I was generous in how I reported on this as Roman did a tear down on the card where he discovered some questionable quality issues with the cooling solution. Clearly it works but some would wonder if given the price, if it could be better. I do recommend watching the vid in the post ...

It Was Forty Years Ago When Microsoft Introduced Windows, Joining a New Wave of Graphical User Interface-Based Operating Systems

Funny, I totally agree and thought those were in that list I got from VideoCardz. In my head I thought the same about them because while I didn't use NT personally, I know a lot of folks loved it and pretty sure our old servers ran a version of it (which I did maintain until they were retired a...

Yeah, I'm not sure how much he's still involved after CIG took over a while back. The website still refers to Roberts Industries but I didn't see anything current regarding him specifically but that doesn't mean he's not still involved in some capacity.

After Nearly $1 Billion in Crowdfunding and 13 Years in Development, Star Citizen Is Nearly, Nah, Who’re We Kidding, It’s Never Going to Happen

I'm starting to lose track of what games I've per-ordered. It hasn't been many, maybe TW3, a Resident Evil Game, an Metro Exodus, and those because I trusted they would launch in a good state. I was happy with the first two, and the third was okay but obviously ended up needing patches quick, so...

Ubisoft Updates on Assassin’s Creed Black Flag and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remakes in Latest Earnings Call

Ubisoft has revealed that it is still moving forward with remakes of two of its most popular games, one of which could launch in early 2026. It’s the age of remakes and remasters as game publishers continue to revisit old properties in hopes of gaining revenue from new and old fans. Ubisoft...

Intel Will Officially Debut Its Panther Lake Core Ultra 3 Processors at CES 2026

Yeah the 3-core type strategy has me a little concerned, but between what's in my laptop and the ones I picked for our office, I've witnessed some impressive things with its predecessors. Still not as good as an X3D chip, but not horrible either. I still miss the older, more traditional...
