Fable Reboot Is Set to Arrive in Autumn 2026, Continuing Its British-Humor-Styled Approach as a Fairytale, Not a Fantasy RPG

Maybe it's Fable Anniversary that I'm remembering about. Interesting. But why would you make your character eat more? In real life, it's coz eating is fun. Does making the character eat more evoke funny foodgasms from him?

Fable Reboot Is Set to Arrive in Autumn 2026, Continuing Its British-Humor-Styled Approach as a Fairytale, Not a Fantasy RPG

Never played the original but it was one of the games that gamers whined about a lot. I don't remember if it was regarding the game or asking for a sequel. However, the remake does look stunning. The animations look smooth and fun.

This is how badly Intel screwed itself over

This guy's thoughts on how Intel bungled their Optane advantage are spot on! https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/intel-4q25-earnings.2633613/post-41562963

NVIDIA Denies EOL Rumors for GeForce RTX 50 Series, Lays Blame on Memory Supply Shortages, While AMD Says It’s Working to Keep Its GPUs at MSRP

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I WANT Nvidia to get out of graphics. We really don't need them. I don't see the need for environmentally unfriendly 450W cards, let alone 600W ones. Let's just be happy with 350W AMD cards since they are the only ones who seem to not want to abandon gamers. Even...

    Cinebench 2026

https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/cinebench-2026.2633409/post-41562737 Clever thing that guy did to bypass AVX2 requirement. Just run it under MacOS!

    They could've released 12P Raptor Lake :)

Steam Machine Launch Could Be Imminent as Valve’s Upcoming Gaming PC Is a Top Prize in a Current Monthly Contest

That's weird. What was different about those games? If it's just searching for hex values in the game process's memory space, it shouldn't matter how old the game is.

This is how badly Intel screwed itself over

https://www.overclock.net/posts/29551638/ I haven't seen people cussing their 14900K this bad. Releasing 285K with lower clocks was a real disservice to their loyal customers.

Core Ultra 9 270H 32GB RAM 1TB MSI laptop $899 - Get it while you still can!

Another good deal with Zen 3 and 32GB DDR4: https://www.newegg.com/auusda-t160r-7430u-16-0-fhd-non-touch-screen-amd-ryzen-5-7430u-amd-radeon-graphics-1-tb-ssd-gray/p/1TS-00N1-00031 I'm surprised that they haven't started opening up the laptops and taking out one SODIMM for sale later at...

Steam Machine Launch Could Be Imminent as Valve’s Upcoming Gaming PC Is a Top Prize in a Current Monthly Contest

Thanks! I found this there: https://www.cheathappens.com/cosmos.asp I remember having fun with gamehack and gameshark before the year 2000. When you have too many games on your plate, hacking through them is the sensible way! :P

Yeah the best before we are back to the dark era of 2x4GB RAM. Or worse, 1x8GB

Marathon Is on Track to Launch in March, but Thanks to Its Anti-Cheat Solution, It May Not Be Playable on Steam Machine or Linux

If they only had a publisher like Rockstar who refused to let them put out a half finished game, it would've been far better. Like L.A. Noire that at least came out half decent despite being 7 years in development hell.

level1tech watching three ASROCK AM5 mobos like a hawk!

Who knows? Maybe they refurbish these and send them back in the channel and the same ones keep blowing up :D On a different note, I'm disappointed that the igorslab guy didn't get a tray of 500 CPUs and test them one by one to see how many fail.

Marathon Is on Track to Launch in March, but Thanks to Its Anti-Cheat Solution, It May Not Be Playable on Steam Machine or Linux

For that particular demographic. For people like me who are not into online gaming, I doubt that I would even try it out. Those of us who hate mingling with people in the real world prefer to have our own sweet time on our PCs WITHOUT having to interact with other people. The last thing an...

Any two applications for $22 at ASCOMP (ends on 25th Jan, 2026)

https://www.ascompsoftware.com/shop/promotion Those horizontal CPU utilization bars could make for some nice visuals for enthusiasts. It's free but need to put up with ads or get the Pro version. The rest is mostly business software. The Cleaning Suite is most likely crapware. Never used one...

    Cinebench 2026

That's a valid use case. Not everyone wants to leave and do something else while the rendering job completes. And it's definitely cheaper than having to do it on a dedicated gaming rig.
