Fable Reboot Is Set to Arrive in Autumn 2026, Continuing Its British-Humor-Styled Approach as a Fairytale, Not a Fantasy RPG

So far I've got a good feeling about this one but we'll just have to wait and see.

I only ever played the first, and didn't finish but that wasn't the game's fault. I had it on the original Xbox and was never that into playing things on it but I do remember enjoying it.

Never played the original but it was one of the games that gamers whined about a lot. I don't remember if it was regarding the game or asking for a sequel. However, the remake does look stunning. The animations look smooth and fun.

If Fable as a franchise can see a (decent looking) rebirth after all these years... then literally anything can come back from the grave.

Fingers crossed that we get a half-decent Dragon Age game within the next 15 years...

I don't remember people whining about it.

It was a really forward thinking game when it came out. Like if you eat too much you get fat and the town people make fun of you.

Maybe it's Fable Anniversary that I'm remembering about.

Interesting. But why would you make your character eat more? In real life, it's coz eating is fun. Does making the character eat more evoke funny foodgasms from him?

Everything you do you, every action you take in the game has an effect. Eat too much people call you fat. Kick chickens and you'll be greeted as chicken kicker. Be too friendly with too many women and they won't want to talk to you. It's amazing how much thought went in to the game for when it came out. Really was nothing else like it at the time.
