Buckle up! Things just went from bad to much, much worse

Hadn't heard about this yet but lines up with pretty much everything else. Yep, we're mostly screwed for 2026 and probably quite a bit beyond that.

Core Ultra 9 270H 32GB RAM 1TB MSI laptop $899 - Get it while you still can!

I'm sure someone out there already is. Almost posted a story on the weekend where some used-PC stores in Japan are offering better deals because inventory is getting low.

NVIDIA Denies EOL Rumors for GeForce RTX 50 Series, Lays Blame on Memory Supply Shortages, While AMD Says It’s Working to Keep Its GPUs at MSRP

There was a time I would've defended them on some level but not anymore. I am happy with my 5090s but do undervolt them and rarely see more than 350W getting used, usually in the 200s. I giggle a lot when playing games on the 9800X3D rig with one, because my total system draw is often in gaming...

NVIDIA Denies EOL Rumors for GeForce RTX 50 Series, Lays Blame on Memory Supply Shortages, While AMD Says It’s Working to Keep Its GPUs at MSRP

I saw this morning that now MLID is saying his sources are reporting that RTX 50 series is essentially dead in the water for the foreseeable future so that NV can focus on AI and that increased volume for the RTX 5060 8GB is also off the table for now. According to MLID NV is still shipping...

Steam Machine Launch Could Be Imminent as Valve’s Upcoming Gaming PC Is a Top Prize in a Current Monthly Contest

I was skeptical when they launched Aurora but now think its one of the best things ever for trainers.

Sony and TCL Sign Agreement to Create a New Company That Will Carry On the BRAVIA Branding

Just saw the other thread that was made. That one referenced TechPowerUp, which I did see and check out while researching this, but I sourced directly from Sony's PR and also included some info from Rtings.com regarding their recent testing of OLED panels. Just a heads up, and I think more than...

Steam Machine Launch Could Be Imminent as Valve’s Upcoming Gaming PC Is a Top Prize in a Current Monthly Contest

It's just that the newer trainers are designed to work with the app. They can be used offline but the app will link to them online so you don't have to download them. Meanwhile the older trainers are standalone installs w/ no support for the new app. They'd basically have to go back and re-work...

Steam Machine Launch Could Be Imminent as Valve’s Upcoming Gaming PC Is a Top Prize in a Current Monthly Contest

These days I just use their Aurora app, so much easier and it's able to retain trainer settings which is awesome. Only real drawback is it doesn't support a lot of games from before around 3-5 years ago which puts you back into having to download those trainers. Gameshark, good memories on PS1...

Steam Machine Launch Could Be Imminent as Valve’s Upcoming Gaming PC Is a Top Prize in a Current Monthly Contest

Same and me neither but I tend to not enter most if I already have what's being offered so I can let others have a chance.

Not sure but the PR for it just came out yesterday.

Me too, sadly. Mostly spent the whole weekend in bed like that. :(

Intel P-Core Only Bartlett Lake-S Processors Confirmed to Exist in 10 and 12-Core Variants, but Will Not Be Available as Consumer Parts

Yep, saw the post the other day that they're up for sale now, can't remember if it was 660 or 685 euros for the 5.9 GHz 12 core model but do remember there were three skus with different boost clock rates.

Marathon Is on Track to Launch in March, but Thanks to Its Anti-Cheat Solution, It May Not Be Playable on Steam Machine or Linux

Seems to be a trend for Bungie. I was reading similar comments regarding what's been done with Destiny 2 but I don't believe it was as bad looking as this one seems to be.

CDPR Exec Confirms That Total Sales for the First Three The Witcher Games Have Exceeded 85 Million Units Sold

For sure, but I really thought I saw $ there. What can I say but that it's been a bit of a rough week on the old noggin. Heck, after doing this post yesterday, was so tired that I spent most of the day binge-watching TV and sleeping in between.

NVIDIA Denies EOL Rumors for GeForce RTX 50 Series, Lays Blame on Memory Supply Shortages, While AMD Says It’s Working to Keep Its GPUs at MSRP

Sad but true. Glad I got most of my upgrades finished last spring because it's beginning to look like they're going to have to last for years to come.

CDPR Exec Confirms That Total Sales for the First Three The Witcher Games Have Exceeded 85 Million Units Sold

I kind of feel the same, but it might be due to the 3rd game being perpetually on sale on GOG, along with their age, and at this point, most who are interested have either already bought it or obtained it otherwise. If the rumored upcoming DLC comes out, that could add some more significant...
