I guess my point is, developers can already just add this much detail to their characters in the first place. They don't really need DLSS 5 to make their characters look better. They can just create them that way in the game design to begin with. Remember when DLSS meant improving...

Another one bites the dust.... Problematic design.

This has been my main argument. The developers can already create high quality characters. Why not just do this on the developer side, sans DLSS5/AI. Just natively create higher quality NPCs in the game /shrug This is why quality settings exist in the game anyway. Create a new graphics...

Introduction Update 2.0 – Back To The Zone – has just launched for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. This very large patch brings with it some major updates to the game, and even a DLC that is available called Cost of Hope. However, for us, we are excited to see the game engine itself get...

I was using a CORSAIR HX1200i (2025) power supply I purchased last December, so it's rather new. I used the native 16-pin cable with it. I didn't have any issues, but I do not have a Wireview, so I couldn't see per-pin Voltages. That uneven Voltage across the pins is the common issue with RTX...

Introduction Does DDR5-8000 EXPO actually make a difference on the AMD AM5 platform with AMD Ryzen CPUs? The sweet spot for AMD Ryzen CPUs is the DDR5-6000 using the EXPO profile, but what if we upgrade to DDR5-8000 EXPO memory? Would there be a difference, and how much? We are going to test a...

Is this what's needed to run the 52-core Nova Lake CPU and a 5090? :snicker: (but not really :( )

Looks like a pre-patch vs post-patch performance review will be in order.

From a hardware perspective, woulda been pointless anyway.

It appears to have been updated now. However, still, 32GB for Minimum?????? Thoughts?

Is this the first game to have a Recommended (32GB Minimum) 64GB Recommended, system RAM? https://store.steampowered.com/app/4651830/CINDER_CITY/ In this economy! Lol First I've heard of this game.

/\ Good List! Based off of that, gave me inspiration to get a couple of DLCs I didn't have for Metro Exodus, "Metro Exodus - Sam's Story" and "Metro Exodus - The Two Colonels" for just a few dollars. I really love the Metro series, but I haven't played through all of Exodus yet, so I will...

My #STEAM Summer Sale 2026 purchases! I can't wait to get to these games; I had always meant to. I owned Dying Light 1 & 2, but now that I have the extras and DLCs, I will finally play the games all the way through now. I am also very aware of the Dead Space series, in fact, I've seen Let's...

DOA at that price

That is iffy https://www.digitalfoundry.net/news/2026/06/report-fsr-4-1-currently-doubtful-for-rdna-3-5-processors This is AMD's time to shine, and show their user base they care, or not. Ball is in their court for this.

They had better not abandon the mobile/handheld gamers, RDNA 3.5 must also get FSR 4.1.
