LGA 1851, the new socket that Intel has designed for its Arrow Lake CPUs, are similar in size to the current LGA 1700 socket, but PC builders should remain mindful of their cooling solutions, according to new reports that are pointing out how the new desktop processors will feature a different hotspot location, one that is further north versus LGA 1700.

Not terrible surprising. I mean, we experienced this with the transition to LGA 1700. Sure, waterblocks and higher end coolers would get the job done they weren't ideal. Coolers properly designed for LGA 1700 definitely make a difference.
