Adam Fletcher, Global Director of Community for all things Diablo at Blizzard Entertainment, has shared his thoughts about the launch of Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred on social media, stating that he hopes Blizzard "never [has] a start like that again" after the company failed to deliver the expansion on time, with the launch happening many hours after what had been promised to players—five hours, to be exact.

I mean - usually we are lucky if a game launches in the same year that it should.

Now, I know this isn't a new game, this is just some stupid "Season" update to an existing game. Still. Hours is nothing. Days you can bitch. Weeks and you can start to demand your money back. Heck, some are waiting years on games (Haha star citizen!)
 
They always say this. Live service games need to be eradicated.
