“Symbiogensis” Isn’t a New Parasite Eve Game but an NFT Collectible Art Project, Square Enix Reveals

Square Enix filed a trademark for a new property called "Symbiogenesis" last month, leading many to think that the publisher was readying a new installment in the Parasite Eve series based on the term's definition ("the merging of two separate organisms to form a single new organism"), but those hopes have been dashed today by a new Twitter account for the project that can confirm it's actually an NFT collectible art project.
