Retro Gaming Night: Battlefield 2 Returns — April 25th, 2026 (All Day!)
It's time to dust off the dog tags and lace up the combat boots — Battlefield 2 is back for another Retro Gaming Night! Whether you joined us the first time around or this is your first rodeo, everyone is welcome.

Saturday, April 25th, 2026 — All DayWe're keeping the server up and running all day long so you can drop in whenever works for you. Morning, afternoon, evening — just hop on whenever you can.

What's the Point?
These monthly events are all about bringing gamers together and raising awareness for BOINC — a platform that lets you donate your computer's idle processing power to real scientific research. You don't have to sign up for anything to play, but if you're curious, we'd love to tell you about it. And if you're already a fellow cruncher, come hang out and frag with us!
How to Get Set Up
BF2 hasn't been sold in stores for years, so if you don't already have it, just send me a PM and I'll get you sorted out. If you already own it, here's what you need:- Head to BF2Hub and create an account (this replaces the old GameSpy service)
- Download the BF2Hub client to patch your game for their master servers
- Find our server in the browser and jump in
