Valve has released its Steam Deck OS 3.5 Preview update which adds some nifty features to the gaming handheld along with other optimizations. Although Valve categorizes this as a small update/patch it does have some significant changes for the Steam Deck. The Steam Deck now supports VRR and HDR when connected to a compatible display. Additionally, it will now emulate the sRGB color gamut for improved colors on its own display. Automounting of external storage devices is now supported, a CPU performance issue with SMT has been fixed, and optimizations for Starfield have been added. Voltage offset settings have also been added allowing users to undervolt, something AMD hardware is known to excel at. These are just some of the highlights of the Steam Deck OS 3.5 Preview.
