AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF), Aka Frame Generation, Is Now Available for Owners of Radeon RX 7000 Graphics Cards

AMD's FSR3 made its debut yesterday which also saw the launch of AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) for its Radeon RX 7000 GPUs. AFMF is AMD's version of NVIDIA's frame generation feature that was introduced in DLSS 3, and similarly, at least for now, older game support is limited to its own latest graphics cards. The new feature is included in the latest AMD Adrenalin Edition Preview Driver Fluid Motion Frames Version 23.30.01.02 available for download here.

I don't have an AMD GPU anymore, but even on my 4090, I don't use fake frames. I don't need the inherent interpolation latency.

They are just being competitive. So many reviewers are using frame gen these days that AMD would have lost without a competing solution. Now we just need to get more folks using FSR 3 with their frame gen solution.
