Cities: Skylines II has gotten a new hotfix update on PC to help address performance issues and provide various bug fixes. While Paradox Interactive's sequel may not rank among the worst releases of 2023 it has received its share of criticisms regarding the developer Colossal Order's choice of 30 FPS as the target goal but even then players have noticed the game's seemingly unoptomized performance on PC. Cities: Skylines II rating on Steam has since improved to "Mixed", at the time of this writing, from "Mostly Negative", where it was shortly after being launched on October 24.

Funny thing is, the more time goes on, the more bugs show up that aren't related to the gpu performance problems. Definately a game released too early.

Yet another case of a game company that should be more like Lyrian. That's what small and nimble looks like. Makes the bigger game companies look uncaring and cumbersome.
