When is NVIDIA planning to expand its lineup of GeForce RTX 40 Series laptop GPUs beyond five? For laptop maker XMG, the answer to that appears to be "not anytime soon."

Yeah, it's looking a bit bleak for anything new and even then inventory is drying up. I've been researching for a couple of months now and while there's plenty to pick from in terms of what's under the hood, it gets really difficult to find laptops with decent displays for under $2500. Acer had one that checked all the boxes for me but it sold out right away back in the spring and was never restocked. Otherwise looking at $3K-4K which is way too much for me.

I was looking into possibly replacing a flaky Asus laptop with a 3050 Ti in it but as you mentioned you'll pay a fortune for something with a decent display.
