The productivity potential for the AM5 platform has reached a new level as MSI announces increased memory support up to an impressive 256 GB on models with 4x DIMM slots. Motherboard models with only 2x DIMM slots can still support up to 128 GB. This should come as good news for owners of MSI motherboards looking to open a few more tabs in Chrome, perhaps tackle that family photo album project, or truly work on pushing their system's limits of productivity.

That's pretty cool. And with local AI becoming more and more of a thing. It kind of makes sense. AI NEEDS ram. Games with local Ai are going to happen... and they will require oodles of ram and specialized compute. Maybe not with the new AI accelerated processors coming from Intel right now.. but it won't be too long.

Then of course modders will take those AI engines and tweak them to be pornographic... because they make every game pornographic. Those angels of industry! ;)
