As CableMod issues its safety recall, the company, well known for its customer support and high-quality products, has said owners whose GPUs have been affected by using the adapters should contact them. It has additionally clarified that this issue, and recall only involves these particular adapters and not its other 12VHPWR cables.

I remember when this whole fiasco started with the connectors that they said "Cablemod to the rescue". This has proven to be incorrect. Disappointing to say the least.
 
Interesting.

I just so happened to order a 180 degree adapter that I could never use because it didn't fit.

I guess I'll be sending it back (if I can find it)
