Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a new game from DON'T NOD (Vampyr, Life is Strange 1-2, Jusant) which takes place in an alternate timeline. Set in 1695, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is an action RPG / Adventure game featuring two romantically involved protagonists. Players can switch between each Banisher, a ghost hunter tasked with ridding troublesome spirits from the living world, to use their unique abilities and weapons in combat and exploring New Eden. The developers have said the game also features choice-driven story mechanics with impactful effects based on player's decisions.
