I really enjoyed Deliver us the Moon. The sequel just didn't have the same atmosphere, no puns intended. Losing the sense of isolation changed the mood drastically. Technical limitations (character models and animations, for instance) also brought scrutiny that was effectively sidestepped in the original.

I totally agree. I enjoyed the 1st one and even played it multiple times. I got the 2nd one during the holidays when it was free on EGS and just couldn't get into it.

However, I am very sad for the team. I truly hope the best for them and also hope that maybe the 3rd game can get made and perhaps act as a phoenix for the developers.
