NVIDIA News Roundup: RTX 5080 Launch Disrupts GeForce NOW, RTX 50 SUPER Announcement Could Happen at CES 26, and More

Yeah, the 5080 SUPER will be a weird one though. MSRP, who knows and we can expect it'll be 5-6 months before anyone can get one at it. Core clock might get a boost. Increased memory is a given. Other than that nothing else expected to change so performance wise it'll probably be within 1-2% of the original except for instances where the extra VRAM is needed. However, since the 5070 Ti uses the same die, just cut down w/ slower memory, I'm more curious if the 5070 Ti SUPER might get more upgrades but that would be tricky since it would further encroach on the original 5080.

The 5070 SUPER will be the real winner, just like the 4070 SUPER, with upgrades all around.

I would rather see a 5080 ti then a super which can't be much "superer" when it's already the full die but I guess a card with more memory for the same price or cheaper like the 4080 super which was 200$ cheaper msrp then the regular one/

Availability might suck in the USA but there have been 5080's in stock oever here most of the time since they launched, the fact that they were 1000€+ over MSRP might have contributed to that.
