8BitDo has announced that its Retro Mechanical Keyboard is now available to pre-order for $99.99 ahead of its September 20, 2023 shipping date. The keyboard is available in two versions, an N Edition and Fami Edition, which were inspired by the American and Japanese versions of Nintendo's 1983 game console, respectively. Highlights include a classic power status LED and a control panel at the upper left, as well as a Dual Super Buttons piece that comprises two large, programmable keys.

Another ****ing keyboard without 10key. What the ever loving hell. I would actually be interested in something like this to scratch my nostalgia itch.

Give me a modern keyboard made to look and have a throwback to old metal IBM keyboards. Something you can bludgeon an intruder to death with before returning to writing your email as you choke them out with the way too long spring spiral cable that's strong enough to be used as a wench extension on a semi truck.

I know man, sheesh.

Those were the days.

I'm not into them but sorta get the appeal if the apps/games they use/play don't need it but I tried one for about a year or so and eventually I just gave up on it. My current 15.6" laptop, was bought mainly for gaming but occasionally used for work or web surfing, doesn't have a numpad and I really miss it.
