Consoles and PCs are apples and oranges. Kind of a fools errand to try to compare the two. Both have their pros and cons - i happen to like both, for different reasons, and tend to kind of oscillate between the two every couple of years or so

You really need a controller for something like street fighter or mortal combat. I bought one a long long time ago for my PC to Play fighter ports, but I never really kept up with it. I should really see if I there are better ports of games like that for PC…

I thought so too, until I bought a controller to play fighting games and realized it makes zero difference to me.

Right forgot about fighting games. They fall kind of into that same category as platformers/side scrollers.

I haven't played a modern one though. Older simpler fighting games you could make work with keyboard controls, but as they get more complex, I bet a controller gets more helpful.

I was trying to remember the last fighting game I played. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it might have been One Must Fall 2097, so it's been a while

I remember enjoying it though!
