Alan Wake Returns in New Control Expansion, “Awe”

When’s Alan Wake getting his long-deserved sequel? We have no idea, but Remedy Entertainment is bringing its acclaimed thriller novelist back for Control’s next expansion. Dubbed “Awe,” the DLC will take protagonist Jesse Faden to the Federal Bureau of Control’s Investigations Sector, which includes a very familiar place: Alan Wake’s town of Bright Falls.



The expansion will be available on August 27th for PlayStation 4. Remedy Entertainment hasn’t confirmed whether the PC version, which is still exclusive to the Epic Games Store, is getting it on the same date.

August 27 is the end of the one year-exclusivity period on Epic. I don't think we've gotten an official Steam release date yet, though.
