Good questions indeed.I wonder why they saw the need to launch new Zen3 EPYC chips, when they already have Zen4 on the market. Are they on backorder on Zen4 or something?
Extra committed capacity on 7nm node and wanted to throw it at something that has a chance at being profitable would be my guess.
