AMD may be launching a new chipset and Radeon RX variant next month. According to product documentation from HP, two upcoming desktop models (TP01-0006ng, M01-F0017ng) feature the B550A chipset and Radeon RX 5300 XT.

The B550A chipset will be a stripped down version of X570, offering PCIe 3.0 instead of 4.0. Little is known about the new Radeon RX, aside from its 4 GB of GDDR5 memory.

The editorial staff learned from trade circles that Acer systems can also be expected in October with a B550 chipset. Whether the new chipset will reach the end customer market in a timely manner remains to be seen.

So OEMs will get first dibs on B550 which makes sense.

RX 5300 and then call it XT? lol. Anyways begs the question 5400 XT, 5500 XT, 5600 XT and then non XT's?

PCIe 3 for B550 if the norm is a letdown. Mainly for SSD's, iTX with a very fast PCIe 4 SSD would be very nice.
