Custom AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics cards are now available for as low as $469.99, according to current retailer listings that include those from Newegg. The cheapest are the ASRock Radeon RX 6800 Phantom Gaming D and GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6800 GAMING OC 16G, which have been listed for $484.99 and $469.99 at Newegg, respectively, and while it's unclear how long these discounts might last, the reduced pricing was presumably prompted by the release of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070, which costs $599 but appears to perform quite similarly to the Radeon RX 6800 in a number of cases. AMD's own benchmarks would suggest that the Radeon RX 6800 can reach up to 79 FPS in games at 4K, but an upgrade in the form of the Radeon RX 7800 with RDNA 3 remains oddly missing. The AMD Radeon RX 6800 released at an SEP of $579 in November 2020, according to a press release.
