Hardware leaker @kopite7kimi has shared an alleged 3DMark Time Spy benchmark score for the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, claiming that the new RDNA 3 GPU can reach a score of around 19,000 in the test. According to coverage from VideoCardz, this number, if genuine, would suggest that the new graphics card from AMD performs surprisingly closely with its RDNA 2 predecessor, the Radeon RX 6800 XT, offering only 4% faster performance. On the flip side, the Radeon RX 7700 XT is supposedly 30% faster than the Radeon RX 6700 XT.

Feeling decent about my 6800xt due to the recent numbers being published.

That all doesn't make much sense. They're saying the 7700 XT is 30% faster than the 6700 XT. Well, the 6800 XT was roughly 30% faster than the 6700 XT. Which means the 7700 XT and 7800 XT perform roughly the same, if the 6800 XT and 7800 XT perform roughly the same?

I'll wait for real reviews.

It doesn't make sense but either does the $50 MSRP difference between the products so I can't imagine there is too much performance between them.

Maybe AMD will drop the price of the 7700XT to $400? If this is even close to accurate the 7700XT is DOA

That is showing close to a 20% difference in performance for 10% more $
