AMD has shared a handful of new GPU benchmark comparisons in an effort to convince enthusiasts why its Radeon graphics cards are a better choice than what NVIDIA has to offer with its GeForce RTX 30 and 40 Series. According to the benchmarks, the Radeon RX 6800 XT, Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 7900 XT, and Radeon RX 7900 XTX outclass their GeForce competitors in various fields, including gaming performance, better performance/dollar, and higher memory capacity, while a blog post titled "Are YOU an Enthusiast?" includes a section about the importance of memory, with AMD seemingly implying that NVIDIA is skimping on VRAM capacity with its GeForce GPUs. One comparison points out how the Radeon RX 7900 XTX features 20 GB of memory for $999, while the GeForce RTX 4080 features 16 GB of memory for $1,199. Yet another relating to peak memory usage in newer games would suggest that at least 12 GB of VRAM is required for proper 4K gaming. (AMD points out multiple times that it offers GPUs with 16 GB of VRAM starting at $499.)
