SiSoftware has published the world’s first review of AMD’s new flagship Zen 3 processor, the Ryzen 9 5950X. While we’ve seen plenty of metrics on the live ranker that allude to incredible performance, the CPU’s actual potential is fleshed out here through native arithmetic, SIMD, and cryptography tests.



We’ve copied SiSoftware’s benchmarks below, but according to the company, Ryzen 9 5950X adopters can expect a 24 percent performance increase over its Zen 2 predecessor, the Ryzen 9 3950X, across various algorithms.

Well, that's some pretty serious numbers for the flagship chip for sure.

I guess we will all have to sit back, wait for real releases, and see what the real world numbers actually are.
