AMD has announced that the Adrenalin Edition 23.5.1 Driver for Windows 10 and Windows 11 64-bit systems is now available for download. The driver promises up to a 16% increase in performance in The Lord of the Rings: Gollum at 4K on Radeon RX 7900 Series GPUs versus the previous driver, as well as a number of fixes for issues that include higher-than-expected memory usage during shader compilation time when launching The Last of Us Part I. That said, some notable issues affecting Radeon RX 7000 Series GPUs remain, such as high idle power with select high-resolution and high refresh rate displays, and video stuttering or performance drops during gameplay and video playback with some extended display configurations.
