The Radeon RX 9070 Series, a new generation of GPUs based on AMD's RDNA 4 architecture that the majority of enthusiasts already know exists but have yet to receive all of the important details, including pricing, relative performance, and date of release, may finally be getting an official unveiling soon, according to a new report out of Taiwan regarding the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, a new "Blackwell" GPU from NVIDIA that is expected to release later this month, featuring 1,406 AI TOPS and a starting price of $749.

other recent rumors include that the 9900/9950 X3D parts could be announced either the same day as these or perhaps in early March.
 
If AMD doesn't ship 10's of thousands of units they'll have already failed.
Pretty much. Who will purposely wait for mid, when you can wait for better. Now if its a good mid, at good value and available, then yeah , they can catch a good amount of buyers.
 
Well, for better or worse, everything is mid this year. Pretty much just pick your flavor and run with it, if on the hunt for something new but I too hope that AMD has their supply chain in order because well, they pretty much have to if they want their GPU division to survive. Mid tier is becoming an increasingly flooded market, if product is available.
