Apple has reportedly stopped production of its premium-priced mixed-reality headset due to weak demand and a lack of content. While low-sales numbers for the first model have indeed stalled the development of a new model it turns out that Apple could instead be re-working it to be a slight upgrade utilizing the M5 chip along with supporting Apple Intelligence.

I like the idea.

I just dont see the Apple Vision Pro as being anything more than an edge product.

Get it into a pair of glasses or something the size of safety goggles, while upping the system specs, and lowering the price by at least 1/2.

Be interesting and nice to see the next iteration of the tech, from Apple or another company.

Give me a version that can use wireless, offload the processing to my PC and handle the local interpolation of data streams (streamed video and RL cameras) as it's primary tasks. Then give me great 3d experiences over a decent WIFI connection with no need for positioned eternal sensors and do it for around 500-1000 bucks and I would be more interested.
