Apple Launches Second-Gen HomePod with Improved Acoustics

Apple has announced HomePod (second generation), a new version of the company's smart speaker that is said to deliver incredible audio quality, enhanced Siri capabilities, and a safe and secure smart home experience. It is available to order online and in the Apple Store app starting today, with availability beginning Friday, February 3. Apple's new HomePod is priced at $299, $50 cheaper than what the original model launched for in February 2018.

I'd be curious what others think about this. Funny that they are getting into the market when Amazon is talking about how much money they loose on it. Something doesn't make sense. Perhaps Amazon isn't breaking down their profit on the meta data add targeting it enables?
