Apple has ordered 170 million OLED panels from Samsung and LG for its future iPads and iPhones. Samsung is the primary supplier with 120 million orders, but LG, also seeing increased sales, will provide 50 million panels. Apple has asked it to more than double that in the future. BOE, a primary competitor of LG, has been tapped to provide mini-LED panels for refurbished products while it perfects its own OLED touch displays. Apple is expected to launch many new iPhone models featuring OLED panels by the end of 2021 such as the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.
