The first season of HBO's The Last of Us is set to end this month, but more post-apocalyptic TV is on its way courtesy of Apple and its premium streaming service. Apple TV+ today shared its first teaser trailer for Silo, a new 10-episode series based on Hugh Howey's sci-fi novels that centers around a group of people who live in a subterranean city 144 stories beneath the surface of a post-apocalyptic Earth—an idea that, while not revolutionary, might entice fans of Fallout (read: Vaults) and other properties to give it a look. Starring Rebecca Ferguson (Dune), Silo will premiere on Friday, May 5, 2023, with two episodes, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through June 30, 2023 on Apple TV+.
