Apple is expanding its family of Mac devices today with the introduction of new MacBook Pro models that feature M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, enabling what the company says is up to 6x faster performance than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro, with support for up to 96 GB of memory. Joining them are two new Mac mini models that also feature new chips in the form of the M2 and M2 Pro, starting at $599. The new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro starts at $1,999 (US), while the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro starts at $2,499 (US).

I love the Mac Minis in general. I just have limited use cases for them, since I can't bootcamp or virtualize native x86 Windows any longer.

Although ARM windows is getting better, there are still licensing issues using that in any official professional capacity.

Side note: 22 hour battery life. Hot ****, I thought my M1 was doing pretty well, but that's ... a long time.
