An ASUS employee has teased the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua on social media along with its price. Originally spotted in an EEC filing back in July, the card appears to feature a thick cooling solution and might be a four-slot card. It only has two fans, but considering Noctua’s reputation and the large heatsink, the card should have impressive cooling performance. There’s no word on how many heat pipes it has...

Well, then again, if you want go break 300W+, you need to go big... but I don't know that a 3070 is the best vehicle for that.

I agree. A 3080 Ti/3090 would be prime candidates for improved cooling. I have a Strix 3090 and at stock it does well but when I OC it I have to crank the fans to max to keep under 80c. They handle it but of course there's a noise factor. I'd be really curious to see this collaboration happen with one of those. I'm kind of hoping the 3070 is just the first of a series.
