ASUS Releases ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, an “Endgame” 1440p OLED Gaming Monitor with 240 Hz Refresh Rate

The search may be over for PC gamers who have been looking for an OLED display that isn't a large TV and/or comes with a flat, rather than curved, panel. According to posts that can be found on the OLED_Gaming subreddit, ASUS has released the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQD, its first ROG 1440p OLED gaming monitor with "endgame" features that include a 0.03 ms response time; 240 Hz refresh rate; anti-glare, micro-texture coating; and custom heat sink. The monitor is reportedly available from Micro Center for $999, although the "bigger is better" crowd have been quick to advise that those with the desk space might as well just get an OLED TV for that price.
