The ROG Maximus Z790 HERO BTF—a new premium, Socket LGA1700 Intel motherboard that falls under ASUS's advanced Back to Future (BTF) lineup for enabling hidden-connector builds—will cost 799€ when it's released, according to a new listing for the product that has been spotted on ldlc.com, a French electronics retailer.

This'll probably be US$800 unless ASUS is just reaming the Euros.

Hard to say if it's a good price; some folks will pay more for the 'BTF' feature over a standard Hero board, but the Hero is already pretty expensive.

The regular Z790 Hero goes for between 600€-700€ depending on the shop the Dark variant for around 100€ more, the EVA-02 one goes for a round 1000€

No price available yet for the BTF in my neck of the woods

The Hero is usually the lowest end of the ROG boards outside of the STRIX models. That price seems insane for such a board.

Well, it's release MSRP with two prior Z790 releases still available on the market, and it's in Europe, where people get screwed by ASUS.
