ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the all-new ROG Phone 7 series of gaming smartphones at its For Those Who Dare virtual launch event, and they appear to be packed with a number of interesting features. In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512 GB UFS 4.0 ROM, and 165 Hz Samsung AMOLED display, the ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate feature a new rapid-cycle vapor chamber design that ASUS says increases heat dissipation efficiency by up to 168%, enabling lower temperatures during gaming. The ROG Phone 7 series also features a built-in subwoofer as part of the new AeroActive Cooler 7 accessory to deliver what ASUS has described as amazing 2.1-channel sound.
