ASUS (UK) Launches GPU Trade-In Program for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series: Get Paid to Upgrade

Graphics cards are getting more expensive ever, with NVIDIA's new flagship GPU, the GeForce RTX 4090, starting at $1,599, but ASUS appears to have a solution for the enthusiasts out there who want to upgrade to green team's latest gear but would prefer to ultimately spend less out of pocket. According to an update on ASUS' promotions page, the manufacturer has launched a new program that allows owners who purchased select ASUS GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards from certain online retailers in the UK to trade in their old GPUs for cash, with the potential for receiving up to £300 cashback via bank transfer. ASUS has clarified that the graphics card must be in full working condition, however.

Hmm, where have I heard this before?

If only there were some other companies that had tried this in the past...

"Up to £300" sounds like it's going to be a pretty bad exchange for this one though.
