MTV’s iconic animated duo is returning for more ill-mannered shenanigans on a different network. In a press release published today, Comedy Central announced that it had signed a deal with Emmy Award-winning creator Mike Judge to write, produce, and provide voice over for two new seasons of Beavis and Butt-Head, which will feature “meta-themes relatable to both new and old fans – Gen X parents and their Gen Z kids.”

Nice! Wonder if they will even attempt to explain the time gap.... I don't need to see 40 year old Beavis & Butthead being stupid... plenty of real life buttheads around nowadays. Maybe they will be frozen like Futurama but thawed out 900 years too early.
 
I... don't... care... I mean really. It was a great series of MTV shorts but bringing it back? I suppose the creators need to get paid.
 
Not sure if anyone caught it but MTV did bring it back, briefly, a few years ago. I caught maybe 2-3 episodes. It was a riot watching them rip Jersey shore and some of the other current shows that were on MTV then.

I'd be happier if CC brought back Futurama(again).
