I think it is one of the most overrated games / franchises.
First one was an OK 6/10 game, but nothing ground breaking. It is discount underwater system shock.
I don't even recall the second one and whether I liked it. And the third one (infinite) is also a 6/10-ish game.

So the development of a new bioshock game doesn't get me excited.
