No more out-of-season April Fools' jokes. During today's BlizzCon 2019 Opening Ceremony, Blizzard unveiled Diablo IV, a terrifying, gory return to the franchise's darker roots. The fourth chapter takes place many years after Diablo III and revolves around the resurrection of Lilith, daughter of Mephisto, who was last seen in Diablo II.

With Diablo IV, we are cracking open the campaign approach to broaden Sanctuary in a way we've never explored. With a fully open world, players will be able to adventure across five distinctively dangerous regions in any order, all seamlessly connected for uninterrupted journeys.

Only 3 player classes at launch (barbarian, sorcerer, and ...druid? No ranged weapon class?) .... which means more will be DLC later like the Necromancer was for D3

But hey at least you get a horse, right? I'm sure Bliz will be happy to sell you some horse armor DLC too...

I am looking forward to this, it needs to stays dark with a M rating pushing into AO territory.
D3 has a M rating but I always felt it was closer to Teen rating.
