The folks over at 2K Games and Gearbox Software have been extra busy this year working on their Borderlands franchise. Borderlands 3 launched on Steam back in February. This followed its timed release on the Epic Games Store in September. There was even crossplay support between the two. After a rocky start and some patching, it went on to receive DLC. Throughout the year, free versions of the original were made available. A new movie was even announced, and now they are looking forward to a next-gen console edition.
