Activision shared a major announcement regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II last week, revealing a teaser video and collection of key art showcasing the members of Task Force 141 that are set to return in Infinity Ward's highly anticipated shooter.

it is, but this is II (with Roman numerals to mark the difference) and does not seem to be a remaster unlike the original MW, this numbering schme is getting crazy like the battlefield series.

I have no problem using the Battlenet launcher, but having it on Steam would be nice.

I have to imagine that with Microsoft buying out Activision-Blizzard, the Battle.Net launcher will be phased out. I expect Activision-Blizzard games to show up on Steam and the Microsoft Store now. Hoping Crash Bandicoot 4 shows up on Steam as a result.
