Xbox head Phil Spencer has revealed that Call of Duty will stay on PlayStation as long as the platform exists, alleviating fears that PlayStation owners may have had amid Microsoft's plans of acquiring Activision Blizzard and gaining control of some of the world's biggest game franchises.

My last, probably forever, CoD purchase was MW 2019, but even I know that the CoD franchise is just unstoppable (hell, a friend recently gifted me MWII Saturday), especially an installment that is dev by Infinity Ward.
