CD PROJEKT RED, the studio behind Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher games, has announced that it is planning to lay off 100 people—a number that would equate to roughly 9% of its entire team. CDPR is likely winding down on Cyberpunk 2077 and its upcoming DLC. We know they are doing a sequel, but its early days. They won't need those extra people until later on in the game's development.

Yea I don't see this as an evil move. Though some outplacement to other studio's would be nice.

They should be winding up for the after release crunch on bugfixing :D

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that's true! The DLC sure as f*ck ain't gonna be perfect out the gate...
Alongside it comes a major overhaul of the base game, it's basically a 2.0 release on top of a new campaign. It definitely won't be bug free.
