CD PROJEKT RED Hires Cyberpunk 2077 Modders to Improve the Game

There have been quite a number of stories on fantastic Cyberpunk 2077 mods, all of which have been especially interesting in that they implied unpaid, community modders were doing a better job at improving the game than CD PROJEKT RED’s own developers.



There appears to be a lot of truth to that.



CD PROJEKT RED has officially begun hiring modders to improve Cyberpunk 2077, a game that continues to be plagued with bugs and glitches even after the release of major patches.



The four modders who are officially joining CD PROJEKT RED are Traderain, Nightmarea, Blumster, and rfuzzo. They are responsible for WolvenKit, an open-source tool that allows modders to modify Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

I applaud this very smart move. The trick will be to keep the modders motivated and figuring out how to fix or improve the game.
 
How very un-Bethesda like. This is a good idea for CDPR, hire talent that is actually interested in making the game better.
 
Didn't Valve kind of do kind of the same kind of thing .. kind of ... ?
