Critics of ChatGPT have argued that the chatbot from OpenAI is going to cost many people their jobs, but some seem to think that it could be a blessing for those who manage to dodge the pink slip. Sure... when less manpower is needed less working days will be needed to maintain profit margins. Hence a switch to a 4 day work week. Oh and also your pay will be cut by 20% with that 4 day work week because the AI is doing the menial work you would have spent 20% of your time doing.

You know who is going to have plenty of work. The people maintaining the AI hardware and software that's who.
 
A four-day work week will happen when companies are willing to take a 20% cut in profits.

They'll want the earning potential for an AI-augmented workforce and the increase productivity over five days. Six if they can get them.
 
I think AI will lead to such a reduction in workforces that we will see a Universal Minimum Income established in every other modern country in the world....

Probably excluding the US.
