Today marks the one-year anniversary for Remedy Entertainment’s Control. There are numerous changes in store for it as it leaves the Epic Games Store (EGS) exclusivity status. Recently, the Ultimate Edition was announced that it would be coming to Steam today. Now, it seems, another popular online retailer will soon be offering the groundbreaking game. DSOG has reported that Control will also be finding its way to GOG in DRM-free fashion.

I am disappoint.

I hadn't actually heard of this release, and was interested until I saw this part:

Homey don't play 3rd person.
 
But why? I like that Steam/Epic etc keep my infinite backlog somewhat organized but more importantly auto patched and cloud saves

The optional GOG Galaxy has auto patching and cloud save support for some newer games. It can also link to all your other store profiles to show and organize all the games you own across all clients in a format that is similar to Steam. A lot of people like that the client is optional. Galaxy is actually pretty nice these days.
